Huntington Fabric Depot, Our story and how it all started, My wife is an excellent sewer and as she constantly needed supplies, we found the nearest fabric shops that offer good apparel, fashion fabrics, and notions about 50 miles away from our home in NYC. Getting her sewing supplies was inconvenient due to the distance and always turned into an all-day affair. And thus, the idea was born to bring an NYC-type of fabric shop to our community, one that was so desperately needed. In 2004, we opened our own fabric shop and received a warm welcome from the community. We are proud to say that we earned a best of long island award by going above and beyond in providing our customers with the best service, selection, and reasonable prices that simply can't be found elsewhere. Mom and Pop shops are put out of business by giants like Amazon, so we thank you for your support and for giving us the opportunity to hang on to this dying breed business (fabric shops) for a little longer!
